Hi all, I can't say I have not been busy this past year. I would like to share a couple of pictures with you all.I would have "included" the pictures in this post, but I am having severe problems accessing my album on rail images. Please visit the following webshots links. Thanks. First, this is my daughter looking for something for her dad on fathers day. I didn't have the heart to tell her it was an old catalog. She was only about ten months in this picture. Web Shots #1 The next few are of my layout. These were taken recently. I just started to find some time to make progress on the scenery. Web Shots #2 All of the track has been laid, and ballasting has begun. Web Shots #3 Web Shots #4 I still need to finish hooking up the power for the hidden yard and staging. Once that is done, I need to make the panel for it. Web Shots #5 Anybody need to lease some power for their road? Web Shots #6
Good to hear from you Garth! Nice progress! The layout is really coming together! That motive power drawer is more stuffed than my rolling stock box!
Very nice! I like the scene with the coalveyors. Will that future city be removable to access the staging yard? Russ
Looks like you have more engines than I do cars and engines combined. Great layout, pictures and web site.
Thanks for the replies. Russ, The city will be removable to access the hidden yard below for maintenance. I wll alos be adding a bridge from the left-rear of the city towards the grain elevator. I won't comment on the amount of engines and rolling stock other than my wife says "I don't need anything else" when I say "Oh wow, look what they are coming out with now?. Somehow, I always end up with it.
That's a good lookin' layout you got there! I really like those high power towers. They give a great modern indusrial look to the scene.
