Well, I updated my webpage to indicate the demise of the "old" Augsburg & Concord and announced the "new and improved" version. On my web page, there are links to the layout plan, which was posted earlier (I think), as well as some pictures from the construction. I finished the backdrop, painted in the clouds, and have attached the foam to the benchwork. Next step will be to paint the unpainted wood and foam a dark brown color. Nice pics, Jeff! Kinda curoius- did you save much of the lumber from your old layout to put in the new one? I've done that from time to time to save money, especially if the wood is in good enough condition.
Yes, I reused a great deal of the lumber from the old layout. I am rather a cheapskate so, anything that was reusable, was reused. However, the foam was all new, as was about 1/3 of the benchwork. Jeff
