I have skimmed all the threads I could find on layout software. I was wondering, do any of these programs allow you to "draw the room" first before planning benchwork and track? I need to make a good scale drawing of my space before I move on to actually developing a track plan. (I have a large space...approx. 26' x 30'...and wish to add a few "false walls" so I can do a complete shelf layout, rather than building a ton of benchwork to sit on my "oh, so crooked" basement floor." Any help appreciated!
I think all of them allow for the room dimensions to be included. Xtracad, CadRail, AnyRail, Rts8.0. I don't recall on the Benchwork. I think all but RTS8.0 will allow benchwork the others are 3D not 2D
