The expression on your fiances' face is interesting. Is she thinking "Oh no. He's got me in here again. And is going to put me to work plastering that darned layout...." ??? Boxcab E50
Oh this is funny! Picture with train trestle and pretty girl and people comment on the trestle!!! LOL!
This is Susie. MK, thank you for your comment. I appreciate the recognition. BoxcabE50, I think working with the plaster would have been fun, but I am not sure Chris would trust me with it! We will try to post some pics of the wedding, although they may not be as interesting as the layout!!
You two seem to be a perfect match. Both interested in trains - what more can you ask for ????!!!! Good luck with the wedding and your future together. Hope your wedding dress has a long "train". OK, I'll log off now.....
MK, Proof we are a bunch of rabid train nuts! Hutch, All the best with the wedding and marriage! A fine lady you got there. Pretty and likes trains. A recipe for a happy life. Have fun in Vegas (but don't bet your train money)!
Here is a picture from our wedding. We are enjoying life on the beach at Mandalay Bay right now! She is the best lady in the world and now I can call her my wife! I removed wedding pictures from RailImages.....
Now I have two reasons to be jelous! Congradulations my friend. You are truly begining the rest of your life.
Chris & Susie: I really enjoyed looking through the photo's of your wedding. I've been married forty two years to my wife who is my best friend. Enjoy your life together and cherish each moment together. Stay cool and run steam.....
Allow me to add my congrats to the new couple as well!!! Hope you have many good years together! Not married myself, but my folks just put their 38th anniversary in the books at the end of March.
Congrats, Chris & Susie! At first, I almost mistook the wedding chapel for a train depot!!! Rabid train nuts? Thank ya, thank ya very much!
I'm tempted to do a hybrid foam, and conventional cookie cutter deal on my next layout... Wow, you have made blistering progress!!!
Congates to you and your wife, I wish you a long and happy marriage but remeber like any good thing it takes a lot of commitment, hard work and dedication.
Thanks guys! The honeymoon has beeg great, but now I am ready to get home and get some track down. I have the viaduct for the bridge behind the wooden trestle built, I have test fit it into place. I have the rock molds working and trying to get some stone in place on each end of the viaduct. All that is left now is to finish the viaduct placement, scenic the rear area behind the back return portion of the loop (I have 500 architrees in a box to be installed!) and then lay some track. The center cascade pass mountains will come after that to hide the rear trackage. I am so excited about the prospect of running a train finally!
