Hemi, Helge, Rush2NY, and Colonel, I know none of you signed up to commit in the Highballing your layout in the Layout Design forum here. But some pictures you have of your layout I think would offer motivation for others if you could post some there. That would be great. Especially Hemi, it is obvious you are working on your layout and reached an exciting stage, would love to see pics in the layout design.. Highballing your layout thread. I think those there would enjoy it. Colonel, My hidden objective of seeing your downtown section is I think you have hit on a splendid blend of colours. RSN48, What design pics are you specifically looking for? Are you asking for step-by-step pics, are progress pics? I only regret that I cannot proceed with the layout, as I am 10,000 miles away in an unnamed deployed location. When I get back in 78 days, I can start back up. I need to have the wife order track for me!!! Sorryt hat the pics were so large, as I have no way to edit them here. Check allmy photos; Webshots, and my own weblink below. Okay Paul, If I ever make it to Australia and I hope I do - buddy in Tasmania - I'm definitely calling you for an invite to see you layout. I know Sidney is a long way away, but my plan would be to rent a "caravan" is what I believe you call an RV down there and so some long distance touring on the mainland. LOL... this won't happen for about 5 years, but its a nice dream now. And you would be required to introduce me to some good local beer...

Actually an amazing number of Aussie's up here, particularly in Whistler, BC (skiing). In fact in one news broadcast, the interviewer was talking to the aussie who came up to Whistler. They were a bit disappointed at how many Aussie's were there, there were so many. They were saying there were so many Aussie's it felt like they hadn't left...lol. I have met and befriended a number of them. I have been warned how big Australia is, we are use to the distance miscalculation here in Canada. An amazing number of Americans and Europeans come up with unrealistic expectations of "driving time."
