Does anyone here have Northeast Corridor (Acela Express) Layout? Because I Have a NEC Layout, And I was thinking about having a City Scene with nothing but High Speed Trains, The Acela and 3 other TGV's on a Table. Right Now my Layout is on the Floor in my Living Room of my Apartment and is about 10' long and about 5-6' wide (HO Scale). Is this a Good Idea? Not sure about your question, but the major negative of a layout on the floor is all the dust bunnies, and grundge that can accumulate down there. As for high speed trains as your theme, go for it, I say.
