Well, I updated my webpage to indicate the demise of the "old" Augsburg & Concord and announced the "new and improved" version. On my web page, there are links to the layout plan, which was posted earlier (I think), as well as some pictures from the construction. I finished the backdrop, painted in the clouds, and have attached the foam to the benchwork. Next step will be to paint the unpainted wood and foam a dark brown color. I was having trouble downloading parts of your site. The track plan stop loading about 1/3 the way through, and I couldn't access your photo's on the new layout. I will try again latter.
Jeff, Went back to your site. I have been there a couple of times before, but I had forgotten. I instantly recognized your church with lightening. I much prefer your new track plan, looks like it is smoother flowing with more operating potential. My only recommendation is the "Red Wing" building. You might want to consider painting it a different colour and maybe adding a building to it. It is the one structure I think all of us went out and purchased. I have seen it on so many layouts (I bought it too) that I really notice it now. I can't remembe which mag I saw it in, but a chap kitbashed it a bit, and added another structure to it. He also changed it's colour; it took me a while to figure out what he did.
