This has happened 2-3 times now : I take cap off and go to lube something and the nozzle is jammed ! I mean zero flow ! I take nozzle out and blow though it ( Mmmm, love that taste of oil ) and from either end it's stuck like it's welded closed !! I came up with a cure: I push a sewing needle through the nozzle (which gets a tad stuck too) and pull out needle with a needle nose pliers having to do both ends...!! HOW ON EARTH DOES THIS OCCUR with OIL of all things ? I always put red cap back after each use. I don't drop it in say, sawdust or, plaster ! It sits on my desk and repeats this mystery a few weeks later ! I mean like... , W H A T... T H E ??? !... HUH ?
