I know this is old school technology, but does anyone know what size power transformer is needed for a Kurtz-Kraft TH-2 DC throttle? I purchased this throttle at a train show for use on a timesaver layout, and it seems the transformer I got to use with it has the wrong output voltage. The transformer I have has 12.6 volt output, but I'm not getting anything out of the throttle. TIA Kit
WELCOME TO TRAINBOARD!!! I am sorry, but I have no clue of what you speak. However, you are in the right place, someone on Trainboard will have the answer for you in time. Again, Welcome aboard.
What you need is an 18 volt transformer, but You should be getting something from the 12 volt one only not near enough. I am also in Springfield Ohio and have 3 Of Mr Kurtz's controllers
