I know this is old school technology, but does anyone know what size power transformer is needed for a Kurtz-Kraft TH-2 DC throttle? I purchased this throttle at a train show for use on a timesaver layout, and it seems the transformer I got to use with it has the wrong output voltage. The transformer I have has 12.6 volt output, but I'm not getting anything out of the throttle.

    TIA

What you need is an 18 volt transformer, but You should be getting something from the 12 volt one only not near enough. I am also in Springfield Ohio
and have 3 Of Mr Kurtz's controllers
