Since there is tendency to complain about problems with manufacturers or dealers, I thought it proper to note a good performance by one. I purchased some Woodland Scenics Foam Putty from M. B. woo woo woo in December, and when it arrived, I noticed an expiration date of 10-25-07. A shake of the container showed that the contents were hardened, so I called Woodland Scenics to see if the expiration date was absolute, before opening the container. I was told that the product should still be good, but the Rep said she would check and get back to me. I was picturing the need to ship the container back to M.B. woo woo woo at my cost, etc. (A lot of trouble for the 6 buck cost of the product.) She called me back about an hour later and asked my address so that she could ship a replacement at their cost, and told me to keep the original and if it could be used, to use it. The replacement arrived two days later. After talking to W. S., I called M.B. woo woo woo, and they were surprised to find out they had shipped a product 2 months out of date, and while I was talking to them they checked their inventory and discovered that the last shipment they had from W.S. was also out of date. They thanked me for bringing it to their attention, and asked if there was anything I needed from them to make it right, and I assured them that W. S. had already done it. They were going to contact Woodland Scenics for replacement of the product they had in stock. While it is obvious that someone dropped the ball at Woodland Scenics to allow out of date products to be shipped, they took responsibility and corrected the problem, as did M.B. woo woo woo. It's nice to know that there are still companies of this caliber to deal with in the Model railroad hobby. Dan

Yes they have excellent customer service. Had a problem with a rather new product that I bought at a recent show. A replacement was shipped to my house within the week. They stand behind their product. glenn
Never have had any problems with Woodland Scenics products. Their line is excellent and I used their products to scenic my layout. Woodland Scenics products are easy to use and the results come out good.
There's sort of this rule in our business that when someone screws up, it is an opportunity to market the firm or company in even a better way. Obviously, Woodland Scenics "gets it". Bravo for their response.
wow well i never had a problem with something train related or having to do with the model RR i never sent anything back because there was no problem with them i must be jinkst or something
It is good business. When you think of how many WS products we all use, good public Relations goes a long way.

Yes WS is a great friend to all..... I really like the fact most all of HO items are being made in N also!!!! Most other makers do HO (Walthers, Atlas...) then leave us N-scalers hanging.
