This is my latest structure and is located at the fishing harbour end of the Tayside port on my M.A.T. railroad. It is named after my good friend Helge in Sweden who was good enough to invest in my layout and now enjoys fresh salmon from his plant. A close up. Sailing by. I was not aware of my new industry, but nowadays companies are sold and purchased all over the world OK, I´m waiting for next delivery of fresh salmon. ------- Helge SR&WF NARA member #5
Robyn, Excellent work, did you have a picture or plan to go by or did you have this in your imagination?
Here is the first delivery to you Helge. ENJOY! Sorry, all produce from this plant goes to Sweden so if anyone else wants a share you will have to contact Helge. Paul, the structure is loosley based on one of those ads you see in Model Railroader for those expensive HO kits. The only way us N scallers can get anywhere close is to scratchbuld one
Wow! That looks almost like the salmon dinners served in my house back home!!! My dad has rediscovered his cooking abilities now after my parents parted ways. And most of his food is real good, which might also explain his weight problem I would't mind a couple crates of that fish...even though they might have to me called gourmet salmone if they went near my railroaders [ 16 February 2002, 07:53: Message edited by: Benny ]
It was a very tasty salmon dishes in the latest delivery. It must have been sent by air, because it was ordered yesterday It was sooo goood that we eat´n up all of it. Sorry to give all of you this sad message ----------- Helge SR&WF NARA member #5
Lookin' good...as usual!! Man I can't wait to give some of these a try. I did scratch build my roundhouse, the largest structure I have, using foam board and putty, but man you have this stuff down!! Actually almost all of the structures are scratch built in this manner...one of the advantages of modeling the American Southwest is that many buildings are adobe, easy to replicate! John
