Does anyone know if Kodak is still processing their K64 slide film? I have a roll that is about done. It's been in the camera a while. Am thinking I should get it sent off. If still possible?

Once this is completed, I may retire the old camera. Print film is of no interest. If that crops up, we can use my wife's machine.

And then, hopefully, I can start the search for a decent quality digital. On a fractured budget.

I have been told there is still a lab somewhere in Europe that processes Kodachrome. Kodak sends any they get in Stateside over there.

I just did a web search and found this. They will process Kodachrome.

Overseas? It's strange they'd bother at all. Oh well. There are a few pictures I would like to get off this roll. Irreplaceable.

    Dear Boxcab,

I have used Dwaynes Photo service and they provide excellent service at a fair price. I had a roll of Kodachrome 25 they processed for me last year. They are the only US source I know of.

Overseas would be Switzerland. There is a large lab there that handles K-14 films. Kodak shut down all of their K-14 labs starting in the mid 90's. The market here was no longer viable.

I would contact Dwaynes. I would send it to them via UPS or FedEx and NOT via the US Mail. UPS and FedEx do not currently zap their packages with X-rays the way the Postal Service does.
