This is my first attempt to do any kit bashing. It does look pretty good even if I have to say
so myself. Would not have tried it without Catt,s urging. It started out as the Concor Leich
Hospital and ended up where it is now. [IMG]

Now that one bash is done looking forward to the next on.

I don't have space for a hospital on my layout, so everyone had better stay healthy :D

    Larry,

What is the foot print and height of your hospital? It looks great. What are your plans for your next one?

Got a great idea from Robin up in Canada on what to do with my bashed hospital. It is now home to the Home Offices for the CEE Line RR. We will be using the East tower for most of our offices and most of the west tower has already been leased to Ed Burchell for his USA offices of Reality Scaled, a computer consulting firm.

Garth the footprint takes up a 5 X 7 inch area. The height of the bashed kit is 5 3/4" while the kit if built as directed is 11 1/2" tall.

Looks terrific. My only suggestion is to place white styrene or cardstock diagonally inside the towers so you can't see all the way through the building....

Believe it or not, but there are getting to be more of these type of "See through" office buildings. Here in Tucson, there are small Libraries that have both ends entirely in glass. The UA library addition also has this quality, as it is only low cubicles inside.

Only difference is that there is people and stuf on the interiors.

Office interiors sound like a brilliant new product for any company. Think about it, almost every office with these great big spaces has filled them in with basic generic cubicle kits. Might be a sign of future products. Could also make for really interestinf transitions from afternoon to night...as the people leve, they turn out the lights, making that level or area dark and the people in it disappear into this mantle of dark. Too bad I don't model the modern age.
