Kibri's Factory kit 6770 has an abundance of detail parts, so many in fact, I think they distract from the build. I spread them around to other buildings. Even the gooseneck lamps are modified parts from the kit. The buildings are all MTL. The Yankee Lobster sign (I remember them!) came from an old yellow pages ad. Remember them? Wow, I designed and cut 5 of those kits. I have never seen someone who built so many of them! [IMG] Great detailing. You have taken them all to a new level, I am so happy! [IMG]

I love those kits. I have converted several of them into other buildings, too. If you are happy, I am happy. Jim

I think it is still possible to order directly from Kibri not only kits but certain parts. I did it via their page 2 years ago. It took 4-6 weeks but worked. This might be interesting for some kitbashing projects.

Great idea! I like the details added they look great! So Jim how did you know where to place those add ons? Seriously look perfectly natural.

Btw Robert I think between your Baz models and MT I got about 12 of your kits...haha Thats why I look forward to what you create cause they always have an easy fit. ;)

Thanks, Joe. The great thing about z scale is just about every manufacturer is on the same page when it comes to accuracy in scale. That being said, I just moved parts around until I found the best location for them. The blank wall on the ship repair kit was an ideal spot for the large exterior storage rack and was a likely place for large pipes, masts, etc...I have probably built a dozen or so of the MTL kits. I bought some extra ones for kit-bashing ideas. The surf shop is part of my Rslaser ice house kit and I have a different version of the saw-toothed building as well (my favorite of the series.) Hi, Pawel(?) I have purchased a few of the 6770 kits. Only one has been built "as is." The rest have been used for various kit-bashing projects. It would be nice to just buy the detailing parts separately. All around, I think they are the most versatile and useful for just about any project. Who doesn't need more vents, piping, flues, etc...I enjoy seeing your updates. One day I shall have a layout to post. Jim
