I just read an old thread regarding Kato and passenger trains and chuckled at the guys talking about their organizations CFO. Well several years ago when I traveled with The New Mexico RailRunners, to shows in Albuquerque and other places, my friend Buzz Lenander sent me a picture of a CP SD40 snoot all decked out to honor Smokey Bear's 50th. My CFO used to help Wig-Wag set up for room sales at various shows and was often given a MT Smokey car. I added some to the consist and re-worked/painted a Kato SD40 snoot nose into the CP #5902. Look it up it was real, no joke.

At any rate, The CFO is quite happy with her train and I have to run it at every years Fair.

    Hope you enjoyed.

    Be well,
    Carl

BTW - I used fiber optics for headlights and ditch lights. Have some light bleed into cab but no biggie.

I tried getting my CFO involved with the railroad, but that didn’t work. I had to lay her off and take over the duties of CFO, to include my Lead Engineer (construction), CEO, Passenger coordinator, freight coordinator, maintenance chief, dispatch, and locomotive engineer. Oh yea I do electrical engineering as well. The job doesn’t pay well but so long as everything gets paid, I can then plan for future railroad upgrades.

I have the greatest CFO anyone could ever imagine. For those who have attended past N-Scale Enthusiasts conventions, you may have met her. Her name is Peggy and she is my wife (and CFO). She supports me 150% with my hobby. So much that today she went over to Des Plaines Hobbies (they are having a 21% off sale) and bought an N-Scale Atlas RS11 in TP&W colors. And she was happy to do it for me while I worked remotely.
