I see it now. I had to look at the ends of the clear plastic bubble to see it. One leg is slightly longer than the other. That's... odd.
That and...if you look at them...the 'straight through' track has the even tis and the 'crossing' ties are wonky. The top one is a right to left and the bottom one is a left to right. Turning one around 180 dregees wont work or wont look right
I apologize for leading you astray. I've been in model railroading a long time and that's the first crossing with unequal legs I've ever seen. I assume there's a reason. One leg is the same length as their standard straight track and the other... what? Lines up with a switch in a parallel track? Or something else?
There ya go ! The leg with the evenly spaced ties is what I call the 'straight through' track. It is the same length as a regular straight piece of Unitrack The shorter leg with the wonky ties may very well line up with a diverging track on one of their turnouts...never tried it...lol
