I notice they are doing Nickel Plate. How accurate is this model to anything that the Nickel Plate ran?

Early this morning I checked www.4nscale.com and they had it listed. Under the Kato updated links section the "Mike" page is listed.

The Nickel plate was known for its Berkshires - they also had some consolidations for branchline & local service, I am not sure if they had many mikes - if they did they would have been Lima built that were basically shortened Berks.

There is a picture of NKP 687 2-8-2 at the Fallen Flags website -

    Fallen Flags

I learned something new today - was not aware that NKP had so many Mikes!

Great locomotive, pain in the rear to put a decoder in.

My wish list for the Kato Mike:

    DCC Friendly
    Details Already Applied

-I can't think of anything else to do to make them much better. I have decoders in 2 and 2 more that are slated for Back EMF/GHQ conversions.
