I am real interested in the Bilevels, but I could pass on the MP36. Metra's scheme for them is awful. I wish Kato would just release their F40 in Metra with the necessity detail changes, and do the MP36 in Go Train or something.

More info from Model:160. KATO Gallery cars are finally gonna send me over the edge and start building an N commuter fleet. I'm planning on using E8s, F7s, and F40s for power. :tb-biggrin:

//phew! I safe. Not in MBTA colors or cars.
Then again, the MBTA only has 2 of them.

    Dear Kato,
Stop it. I'm broke. I'm out of cash. I didn't get as much money for my grandma's dentures as I thought I would. I already sold a kidney and half my liver, what more do you want?

Fortunately the MBTA is an _Eastern_ Road so I needn't worry.

I really wish they'd do this in HO.

They did that with the Pullmans and the F40PH, so who knows?

Anyone see this one coming? Kato like keeping things under wraps, with an August release they must have been under development for quite a while.

Where are all the other roadnames like GO Transit, Metrolink...? With Athearn's mock model selling like hot cakes, I would assume Kato would release more than one road name. Glad I purchased the 'cheaper' version of GO from Athearn.

Fantasy scheme aside, at least Kato would include directional lights on a bi-level cab car without even thinking.

It's a real shame that their cars are going to be Nippon Sharyo-built Gallery Bi-Level cars.

If they had chosen Budd-built bi-level cars owned by CB&Q, I would have placed my order TODAY.

Well, Kato's decision saves me money. So hey, no sweat.

But we've had both the Budds and Pullmans for over a decade.
Both ready to super detail to you satisfaction.

Since Kato or anyone for that fact is a little behind on doing this MP36. You know they'll get around to the roadname's, no need to request that, for sure request that the paint matches the Athearn Bombardier cars you already own.

Do you mean the Con-Cor models? I am not such a big fan of Con-Cor.
