I saw on the internet that Kato sells flex track. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff?
My last layout went away during our last move but I have hopes of negotiating space for a new one and I really liked the versatility of the Atlas flex that I used then.

(I'm sorry, but i don't know how to post links, but You can search for it on Amazon or KatoUSA.)

You probably know, but Kato's flex track has no roadbed like their sectional track.

Yes, I know. I was thinking about mucking about in SCARM and saw that there was an option for Kato flex. Unfortunately there don't seem to be any reviews from people who have actually used it, except for Amazon customers, and not many of them.
Maybe I'll just go ahead in SCARM as if I was going to use all sectional track.

In the past and as far as know, today, Kato flex track was Atlas code 80 relabeled.

I don't think they're the same today. The description of the Kato stuff is different from the Atlas flex I used all those years ago, and the Kato is a little cheaper than the Atlas, at least on Amazon.

Perhaps Kato's flex track has tie spacing, tie length, and tie and rail coloration that matches sectional Unitrack.
