Today was the day of the Kate Shelley train show in Boone Ia. Its kind of weird that there is not much n-scale to be sold here. Lots of HO. But only one HO layout and two good sized n-scale layouts. I actually had a pretty good day. I had good luck at the silent auction and found a few things I needed for a decent prices. I would say there were about a dozen or more venders but they took up the whole high school gymnasium. I am thinking I might try the Omaha show later this year if I can. By the way I really dig that cloverleaf modular layout. It was a lot of fun to watch the trains threaten to crash.... Kind of like a supersized circle 8 race in n-scale....
That's a T-Trak layout. Am trying to think of the group which might have set it up. There is at least one, which is quite active, from Iowa.
The clover leaf was from the Central Iowa Modular RR. They will be part of the Milwaukee shows layout coming up,. Wish I could go. Its a very large set-up. The other was from the Des Moines N-Trak club.
