Well I guess it's time to close the paint shop for the night. I was spraying two freshly painted units with gloss cote so I can decal in the morning. I had two cans of the stuff, one was just about empty. It was enough to coat the first unit. With the first one done while still holding it in on a stick, I grabbed the other can and began to spray unit #2... but instead out sprayed flat white!!! I was so shocked I dropped the first unit and ran to my workbench to find a remidy. The first unit somehow survived the drop to the ground. The half white unit recieved some paint thinner with a Q-Tip. That sort of solved the problem. I guess it will become one of those paint flaking, sootty, fading wrecks that the SP operated in the "Drought".

    I'm Going To Bed Now.

BTW, the Santa Fe GP60 is now finnished. Look for pictures soon. I was going to take pictures outside today but the sun never came out.

Sometimes the hardest part of modeling, is knowing when to stop. :)

Tonight was one of those nignts for me, I was finishing up decaling some Alan Curtis 48 foot spine cars and I kept ruining the decals. I probably went through 4 or 5 of the same decals. Not as bad as yours, but still very frustrating. I just decided to go to bed before I wasted the whole decal sheet  .
