Just finished a Fernwood Columbia & Gulf caboose

    Hi, New member here, just made the switch from O scale. I built this caboose to go with my FC&G SW9. I will be modeling this shortline railroad.

    Thanks, I have 2 crewman, couple of chairs and some chopped wood for the stove still to add.

    Nice work!

    Being a train order collector, I have a few pieces of FC&G amongst my accumulations. But I know nothing about the operation, nor what equipment they even used. Seeing this caboose, obviously home built, has me thinking it must have been a very unique line.

    There is a lot sadly lacking in the personality of today's rolling stock. The caboose looks great. Thank you for putting up pictures.
