Your load projects look like fun and they've turned out great. Thanks for the good photography. (y) I've not worked any M-T loads before and the pictures really helped me to understand what their installation entails. Do they glue in place?

Yay on the Atlas L&N boxcar. I use a lot of "old" rolling stock on my railroad and love seeing the cars. They bring back a lot of happy memories of times long since past.

I was also thinking that perhaps M-T had provided a magnet inside the boxy shaped loads, but I found the floors aren't magnetic.

I used a small dab of Aleen's tacky glue to secure them. That makes for easy removal and clean up if I ever decide to remove the. They are an easy install and I feel like they really add a lot to the look of the cars when the doors are open. They also make for some nice additional weight in the cars but not overkill.

Ah, a good choice. I've used it to fasten my Unitrack for the same qualities, flexibility, no drips or runs and easy to remove. I'll have to look at M-T's website to see what loads they offer. Probably not this one with cop and hobo. :ROFLMAO::LOL:

I picked up the two pack of the M/T Ferromex boxcars yesterday. Here are more shots than you care to see and a look at them and the packaging. Don't ask why, just feel the need to share. :)

Here they are in the box. This is the front of the box

Opening the box. There's a fair bit of empty space where the tray with the car can slide left and right

These should look great on the layout. Some very cool artwork from M/T. The vertical lettering like on the prototypes is really cool as is the paint patchwork and overall weathering. Three thumbs up! (y)(y)(y)

Might as well do similar with the Oxford Diecast cars. I'll skip all 6 sides of the packaging and just do the front followed by the cars :)

    Front in package.

I really like the Oxford cars. Hopefully they will continue to expand their selection of modern cars. Since I'm all thumbs sometimes, here are some thumbs up for these as well :D (y)(y)(y)

Where you get these. DM me if need be. They look cool! And they state N Gauge on box, is this true?

My guess is they are probably 1:148 (English N Gauge) as opposed to 1:160 (US N Scale). Whether or not that works for you is in the eye of the beholder.

Those are Oxford Diecast cars. They are indeed British N scale, which is 1:148.

These are indeed Oxford Diecast. Despite the "scale" difference between US and British, with these, it's very hard to see at least for me. They do a modern Land Rover. I'll try and do a shot of it with one of the Atlas Ford Pickups and one of the River Point Ford Pickups so you can have a better idea of the scale difference.

@in2tech I got these from a vendor at a train show this past weekend but you should be able to find them at several of the on line retailers.
