We'll the other forum A...s has suspended John Sing for posting pictures and links to the new Bman 2-10-2. As far as I am concerned they can have all of their molds seized by China....... They don't make much steam anyway

Thanks for all of you info John. Jason smith NSR58

I saw that. All I can is WOW! I guess he broke a guideline about something with posting a link.

Yep, thats going to turn alot of people against the Atlas Forum. John has continually been a great photo provider on many, many subjects all over the world that relate to our great hobby and let people see whats been going on when they cant be there themselfs. This is a bad move on Atlas's part. :(

Since I joined Train Board, I have NOT been to a couple of the other
forums I belong to. Those being Atlas and Aristo Craft. And as far as
I know, I'm NOT really missing much from either forum!
I get MUCH more good, useful information for the folks here!
Even I was warned on the Atlas site, about talking about the
Aztec track cleaning boxcar and wondering if an Atlas boxcar body would fit.

    As Red Green states:

Remember, I'm pulling for ya. We're all in this together.

I don’t know maybe it’s just me, but I thought it was weird talking about a competitor’s product anyway.

This action by the control freaks on the ATLAS forum is why I spend almost no time there anymore. It is much more peaceful, civil and informative here than it ever was over there.

John, you are great and if I were you I wouldn't ever go back to the Atlas forum. Totally overblown crap from the moderators. Stay here John where you are greatly appreciated.

It might be true, seeing such a post as odd. However, it only would need to be removed, at very most. If this action is true, it's a very sad incident.

I have never heard a single word about John, which has been other than good. He is one of the most well known N scalers these days. His actions nothing but for bettering our hobby, everywhere.

Oh I agree!I wasn’t meaning that he should be suspended.

I was only saying that it was odd that the thread was going in the direction it was especially after the first warning. I was reading the thread from the start and I didn’t think he was being defiant or trying to cause trouble in anyway. i think he may not have seen the other warnings.

Well,I was done with the Atlas forum before this. The moderators over there are USELESS,the only time they do anything is when the rules are broken and it effects THEM,not the posters.I got sick of being abused there. This place is it for me now..Geez,John Sing..Is there a nicer, more polite, better model railroader, and source of info on the web? Never mind huge Atlas supporter.

Incredible... must be one of the most unjust suspensions I've heard of...

Of all persons to suspend from ANY forum... John Sing is the least likely one I'd expect... and for simply posting a highly desired post about upcoming products disclosed at a model train exhibit of all things. Whomever at Atlas pulled the plug on John has really given 'Atlas' a black-eye in the model railroading community. I totally agree that John is a highly respected member of the model railroading community and the thought he willfully did anything wrong to warrant a suspension is hard to believe. Its not like he is skulking around in the R&D department disclosing secrets of future products... this is something that is being displayed at a TRAIN SHOW for heaven sakes!!!

I enjoy all of the photos and commentary that John provides us... and John... if you read this comment... please keep up the great work you do for us.

John is a great person who shares his knowledge with the masses. A board is becoming a second tier forum for a second rate manufacture who is getting left in the dust by the start ups. They are probally upset they have nothing for N scaler... No new loco's... for hoe long?? Give me a break A*&&^.

    My rant.

I got the personal email from Paul...what I don't get is why you can't post a link. Bachmann has obviously announced it already as there is a link...why can't we post it?

And some of the members there are getting to be real a-holes...When I griped about the Atlas 89ft, being its the same car that MT already does...and people go on their tangent of how we need it still, yet most of the modelers I know rather have a car set up for twin 45...not a 45 and a 40

They will surely regret that move; John Sing has been a valued contributor on many of these Model Train Forums. Atlas sure blew it on that move.

This is an embarassing response from the N-Scale community... Two wrongs won't make it right.

I haven't been on the Atlas site in a long, LONG time. Too much heavy handed bickering and nonsense for my taste.
As for John, I had the pleasure of meeting him at a train show a few years ago. He was a gracious, kind and humble human being. I always look forward to his reports on train shows that I can't get to and his wonderful photos. He is a treasure to the model railroading community no matter what the scale.

While the atlas fourm never suspended me, it never lived up to what I expected from it so I kicked 'em to the curb many years ago. This recient travesty just proves my actions were correct.

John, if you're out there lurking I appreciate your inputs to the hobby. Keep posting here and forget about those other guys.
