While Pittburgh, or mebby Pixxburgh if yunz are a native, is really noted for Lionel 3 rail O gauge guys....there are some HO people here too. I tend to wander around in scales and always have. Lately I've been sucked into the HO DCC crowd, and that is no bad thing. Been buying DCC equipment for many years, but really more for the model itself than any operating system. Credit Walthers, with their new B&LE SD7, complete with Tsunami sound, to push me over the edge. B&LE is not even my primary road either. Given enough space, I'd love to do the PRR Sandusky line from '54 to '64....but being practical, the next layout will be the B&LE on the west side of Erie, Pa. The NCE Power Cab provides the brains for this operation.
Jaygee, welcome aboard! Let's see, Pittsburgh, home of the Penguins and Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin..
Welcome aboard! Sounds like you have some good plans in mind, so that should help you keep focused (although dabbling around in the larger scales could also be fun)
