Good Morning, I'm preparing an article for the resurrected Passenger Train Journal. Its first issue is due out in October. I'm looking for a timetable for ACL and SAL trains that served Jacksonville. I'm looking for timetables that may be to or from Miami, and to destinations north or west of J'ville. I've searched online at various sites, but it doesn't seem anyone posts the train schedules. Leo - I have Seaboard Air Lines Time Table No. 3 dated for Saturday, December 14, 1963 showing train times for the Jacksonville sub-division as follows: Train 9 "Palmland" arrive Jax 6:50 p.m. " 57 "Silver Meteor" arrive Jax 8:55 a.m. " 7 "Sunland" arrive Jax 8:00 a.m. " 15 Mail & Express arrive Jax 3:55 a.m. Train 15 "Palmland" dept Jax 8:15 a.m. " 58 "Silver Meteor" dept Jax 4:15 p.m. " 16 "Tidewater" dept Jax 6:15 p.m. " 8 "Sunland" dept Jax 8:30 p.m. Hope this helps a little.
