    I solved the amperage problem, by reversing the DCC in wires.
    Now it only works, if only 1 switch is connected. As soon as I connect a second, I get no more than a little sound, from the switch... no actual state change.
    CV 79 is set to 1. I'm consistent, in my choice of wiring, between the switches and the JW.

    Solved. A good nights sleep. Followed by rtfm (reread the fabulous manual). I was moving the jumper to reset, instead of programming the 4 outputs, with CV79...
