I didn't get anything done on my passenger station this weekend. It's time to paint the concrete foundation, and I wanted to do that and the foundation for the gas station at the same time. OK, so before I do paintwork on the gas station, I need to drill a hole for the hoist, and before doing that, I needed to locate and design the hoist (a 3D printed frame on a machined post). Bottom line, I spent quite a bit of CAD time over the weekend along with cutting grass, draining a slug of water out of the lawn mower and replacing the fuel filter and a rotten fuel line. Then I tied up the better part of two evenings watching the "Grant" mini series on the History channel. BTW, I am definitely finding the Grant series interesting and suggest it to anyone with an interest in the civil war.
Absolutely Superb! The roundhouse interior would be excellent in a larger scale- phenomenal in Z scale.
