    Today in Cheyenne:
Who owns this engine? No numbers were on the flanks...

Good question! I've not heard of any steam loco moves. Know anyone who can trace the car number? Was it moving east? Or west?

Looks a lot like one of Undec's locomotives. Undec has an unusual roster. Wide variety of locomotive and car types. On the other hand, there are some that ran on almost every road except Undec.

(This post may make more sense to modelers than railfans....)

That is the former Florida East Coast 148 which was undergoing restoration in Traverse City, MI. It was sold to an outfit in CO and left Chicago on 3/6 bound for Monte Vista, CO where it supposedly will complete it's restoration and pull excursions between South Fork and Creede. The name of the road escapes me. Note that it has been tagged along the route. :(

Was supposed to made Denver tonight, with delivery on Saturday. Mechanical problems stopped the train in La Salle Friday.

Has a fairly up to date list of events. Updated as projects are complete, arrival of new equipment and more.
