Did your weekend go as fast as mine?

After a long and stressful Friday, Saturday started early with the arrival of my buddy from up north. We headed west for Decatur about 7:30am and set up our table. Unfortunately the show did not have room for our Galesburg Modules so he helped me with the Wiggin Locomotive Works table. The show Saturday was slow and my only business was with club members. We did find a few good deals however. Later that night we all got together and had a great time at a local eating establishment. Sunday we explored some former Illinois Central ROW before heading to Decatur for day two of the show. I picked up a much needed book for ICG and some deals on future custom paint projects. All in all a good show and relaxing. We ended the day shooting some pictures of the local Decatur Junction GP-16's and having pizza before my buddy had to head north and me to bead for a 3:00am start time for my "part time" job.

So how about you? What did you do this weekend? Let us know. We'll come back here on Friday the 25th and do it all over again. Until then, have a safe week and...

Nice and quiet weekend here. I finished cleaning off the bench work with the vacuum. Then turned on my system to check my wiring job. Found one small loose wire. Programmed the engine I installed the decoder in this past week too. Started going through all my stuff to figure out what to keep and what to get rid of. Emptied four boxes. Time to start thinking scenery and figure out where to start....

No train modeling for me this weekend, but I did assemble a couple of Star Wars kits that I found in my local hobby shop Saturday. Sunday, a friend and I went to a Concours D' Elegance in Danville, Ca. We saw this beautiful 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO, similar to one that sold in Monterey for 38 million dollars.
