Wow Jim, Just wonderful modeling here, all the stumps, the dredge and all just outstanding modeling on the Zalma Branch I presume?
I got my control panel started and mounted. Still need to route the wires for the Zephyr, but at least it has a home now instead of on the corner of the layout . On the left side will be accessory switches etc which will come at a later date. Overall, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
Maybe they cut them in that odd shape because of internal bracing in the main structure. Adds a very distinctive and unique look.
That's true. I've never found any plans for these unique machines and had to go by sketchy photos. I would love to know what these things looked like on the interior.
