Hey all, sorry this is late, bad weekend and I don't have time for details, so go head and post what you got done this past weekend. Hopefully I'll have more time Friday. High greens all!
Saw your post on FB. But it did not say much about what happened. I managed to get a few parts cleaned and in primer paint. But that was all. Better than nothing at all.
Jim, sorry to read that you had a bad weekend!! Started the painting process on my switch complex streets. Got to work on a second filling station. (Made a base for it). Ordered a bunch more Evergreen styrene. That's about it, Wolf
Life afforded me a whopping 30 minutes to spend on my layout this weekend. I did manage to test install one turnout that I had already attached feeders to and shape a piece of flextrack for installation soon (I hope).
I had a very cool weekend. I picked up some new locos from my buddy Chuck on Saturday. The first was a Kato A-B-B-A set of F7s, which will eventually get repainted as Western Pacific units: 004 by WPZephyrFan posted Mar 19, 2016 at 4:23 PM 003 by WPZephyrFan posted Mar 19, 2016 at 4:22 PM I also finally got my Atlas undecorated S2: 002 by WPZephyrFan posted Mar 19, 2016 at 4:13 PM 001 by WPZephyrFan posted Mar 19, 2016 at 4:20 PM And finally, I started work on my Walthers co-op shed: 001 by WPZephyrFan posted Mar 21, 2016 at 12:11 PM
Put some final touches on my staging yard bench. Risers for plywood, that sort of thing. Also went across town and measured and "sized" the remaining portion of my former Albemarle Division. Got all of my buildings out of storage and got them in the train room (still in boxes). This weekend, I'll be closing out the storage and bringing the benchwork to the house. Its been 7 years and 11 months since I've had a layout. Grateful to FINALLY be building another.
