The best intentions and all....I had planned to get up earlier and get this done but time slipped away and before I knew it, I was in Decatur Illinois for an interview. I guess I have to learn how to use Tapatalk more as I had a break in the afternoon and tried to post but was unable to. Oh well, here we are now.

Despite working a five hour shift on Friday, I was able to get a lot done on the Galesburg Modules. Module number two was the worst offender as far as wrong track and in the end, was the module that had all but the three small connector tracks to module one removed. With my new information in hand, I cleaned up the top of module two, drew some lines and set off to work. By Sunday night I was soldering the last of the drops. Now I just need to get all the Tam Valley switch machines installed. That means that modules two and three are now accurate to the photo that was given to me late the previous week. Only three more weeks to go so I'm not out of the woods yet.

So how about you? How did you do? Let us know what you did with a picture or two. We'll come back here on Friday the 12th to start the process all over again. Until then, have a safe week and...

    High Greens!

Made a set of stirrups. Did not like how they came out. So went back and started to make them anew. Then was sidetracked by another non-model, RR hobby project and that was it. Maybe will finish the stirrups tomorrow.

I've ordered a 3-pack of City Classics "company house" kits. These will be part of the scenic cover for the staging tracks. I'm getting nowhere with this project, but I think it's because I don't have a good idea in my head of how I want it to turn out.

The weather is nice, too. We were in Maine over the weekend, and we did a lot of bicycle riding and eating good food. Sometimes, the trains have serious competition for my time.

Not a single thing. With major remodeling going on during the summer I doubt that I'll see the inside of the train room until the snow flies.
