Well, we did it again. Another weekend is behind us. How did you fare?

Friday was a four hour shift for me as I was halfway through training on the new job so I was able to get a little bit of work done on the modules. Saturday was the best however as I worked my hours in the morning and had the rest of the afternoon off. By the end of the weekend, I was able to finish all the track work on module two, start the process of mounting the turnout controls to the fascia and get the most of the wiring done. I'm blessed with an entire day off so I hope to button up module two and finish up module three. I work on Tuesday and Wednesday but 5:00AM to 10:00AM so I hope to get even more done before loading the modules up on Wednesday to show them off at Galesburg.

So how about you? Did you get everything done on your list? Let us know! We'll come back on Friday the 26th to start the process all over again. Remember, I'll be in the land of trains (Galesburg) and more hopped up than a 3 year old on a sugar high, but I will get to the WMP thread, just not as early as you may be used to. With that, have a great week and we'll see you on the other side!

    High Greens!

Got quite a bit of painting done. I'm restricted to painting in the mornings until the heat-pump/ac unit goes in. Dang thing sitting in my garage and the contractor hasn't given me the install price yet.

Other than painting in the AM, I got the plaster road installed on my Avram's Bakery effort along w/ some more ground cover. I'll probably wind down on this save details like power lines and light poles until I'm ready to install it on the layout.

My magna-lite mount broke, so I spent time trying to repair that failure.

I managed to get about 3/4ths of my basement clean out done. That means the air compressor and paint booth are back in place, and the airbrush is cleaned out and ready to go.
