Well we are back, how did you do? Saturday: As planned I spent the entire day working on Jared's car along with Angela's dad. He being a Ford guy, and me being a Jeep guy, we had some head scratching moments but we soon had the car in tip top shape. We ended the day with a good meal and some cold brews. Sunday: I did nothing, I was too tired from Saturday. So how about you? What did you get done? Let us know. We'll do it all over again on Friday the 3rd of August. Until then, have a great week, stay safe and as always... High Greens!
Didn't get everything I wanted to get done. Never had time to start or touch the new lighting canopy over Albemarle City. However, I did get work done on repairing some old freight car projects that have been sitting for years and years. Also, got my programmng track 95% done. All that remains now is to download drivers/software to update my QSI programmer, download ESU programmer software, and download NCE USB drivers. Already have the JMRI loaded. Here's a shot of the computer desk in my work shop w/ the programming board I set up.
I made some decent progress on a couple of projects: For my Lark: an articulated chair set - decaling is done. Next- finish adding details - then a clear coat and reassembly. Finished a couple of cabooses. A C-30-2 - relettered and renumbered (To a correct series number) An a C-30-3 renumbered (To a correct series number) Hope Y'all had a great weekend, Wolf
I did work on some small trees and shrubs for my new Asian Module. I found some palm trees I had left over from one of my old Ntrak modules so I also added them. This is supposed to represent the warmer areas of Japan so palm trees would be appropriate. My wife says I need a lot more vegetation and I agree. I think Tomytec has some tropical plant sets and I am going to look for those. And I got around to painting the project I had started last weekend. Still some details and weathering to be added to this one.
