Well we did it, here we are, the first Weekend Modeling Accomplishments of the new year.....2016. How did you all do last year?

As stated last week, I spent Friday having everyone help take down the assorted Christmas decorations, lights and trees and the clean up the house to normal operations. Saturday I worked on more cleaning and generally getting the shop back together. Work on a pair of N scale Paducah's were that days subject. Sunday I finished up the details on the first Paducah as seen here:

Since that picture was taken, it has since been to the paint booth and has received a coat of primer. Discussion of a new NTrak club took place via email with a large amount of research and the decision to meet soon made. I didn't get a chance to work on the layout this weekend so work must continue throughout the week. I finished the weekend by seeing the newest Star Wars movie and came home for a short winters nap.

So how about you? Was your New Years Weekend a good one? Did you get a lot accomplished? Let us know, with pictures if you have them. We'll assemble again on Friday the 8th and get this started once again. Until then, have a great start to the New Year, stay safe and...

    High Greens!

Very productive weekend for me. Started out Friday by changing couplers on an old Bachman DC GP40 and a Bachman reefer. Saturday was a work day so Sunday my son and I found about 6 hours to work together. We got a mountain built. Also I laid some subroad and cork roadbed down. Today I continue. I will be laying more cork and some track. I need to have this finished by Tuesday. Then I can finish the mountain on the o e side.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

My productivity continues. Sub roadbed and cork roadbed down today. Glued some track down and added some more cardboard strips to mountain subterrrain. Tomorrow pick up where I left off.

Today ends my weekend. I went and racked down the track over my swing bridge area. Found a small issue that needs to be rethunk, the grade just isn't working right. Also worked on my mountain some more. I am officially out of materials. Need to get some more to finish. Also found a spot there that needs a dremel taken to and reworked.
