Another weekend is done, how did you do on your projects?

Saturday was a work day so nothing accomplished that day, but Sunday was productive. I was able to get the track started on module two and some wiring done as well. Not as much headway as I had hoped but a Honey Do list took up the entire morning and work did not start until 2:00 that afternoon. I have Friday off this week so my Weekend will start then with a brief work day on Saturday. With that time I hope to get started on some diesel detailing and painting projects as well as more track work on module two.

So how about you? Did you get any activity done on your module or layout this past weekend? Let us know! We'll come back here on Friday the 16th and start the process all over again. Until next time...

Well let's see, this weekend was productive. My son finally finished the power substation kit he has been working on for four months then started another structure kit. I had to pull that one apart and have him redo it. Found he didn't read the instructions. I started building my round house. Found out I mismeasured the spot for it. So I will be purchasing a third kit and I will kit bash two of the three to make a 9 stall round house. instead of a six stall. Six of the nine stalls will be a lite shorter than normal to get it to fit right.

Well its a new year, and with a new soldering iron in hand, track work is resuming on the Bufkin's Bayou bridge:

There is still a lot of track to install and things to hook up, but after putting the bridge track onto the deck with the switches, I think I can cheat it enough with guard rails, walkways, and outside guard timbers to make go of it. And yes, I have one solder joint to clean up - my late Christmas Present to me was a new variable wattage soldering iron.

As foretold in prophecy, I watched a lot of football and worked on a building. I got all the window glazing in place and fitted the foamboard interior floors. I printed sheets of cinderblock walls and wood floors, cut them out and glued them to the interior. The next step will be some lighting. I bought some gooseneck lights from Ngineering, reasonable in price but requiring significant assembly.
