Juat as an add-on to my earlier reply Pictures of Taptons Panel after another day of wirings The Blue Leds are really bright! Still a bit of tidying to do inside Kev
That crossing is great! I was stationed outside of Tokyo from 2020-2023-I had completing forgotten about the way the pedestrian crossings-spot on! And those bus stops back there are perfect. Great job! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was nervous but determined, and somehow managed to do this with a generic 25w soldering iron that I had to grind the tip down to a fine point on because I didn't want to buy new tips, no flux and no braid lol. I believe it would have been WAY easier if I had the correct tools. I'm going with 50% luck 50% skill on this. The motor had slightly larger connections than the rest of the components otherwise I don't think I would have been able to do it. Much happier with the control the car has on the layout now with a slower speed motor, wish it came like this from the factory! I'll get a little video up of it running around the layout soon.
Luck likely skewed the odds in your favor. If I did that at work, my boss would have a heart attack! Glad to see it worked. Cool Dodge Challenger. But you really drive like a Quebecer... even bypassing the crossing gates! Keep up the good - and fun - work.
I only get to sleep in until 0600 because I have tiny, furry overload. Freya (my daughter's cat) demands to be fed at that hour. How I became her keeper is beyond me! I finally recieved my LED light and got it hung up and plugged in. I also have a power cord running from an outlet on one side of the garage to where my bench is. We bought a cable cover for the garage floor so my ex car still park her car inside. Modelingwise, I goofed around with trying out some weathering on a few of my cheap old freight cars that I have lying around.
