Come on folks, lets see some street running shots! [IMG] I've got one here to kick us off, but what about other great locations? Don't be shy, lets see your pics!

For a Brit, street running is a really fascinating thing, as apart from light rail applications, we have a system that is almost totally segregated and fenced from the general public, (with a couple of exceptions.) so this is pretty cool.

One of the "things to do" on my 2000 trip to the US was to catch some street running on NS's ex NKP main line through Erie, PA, as I'd heard this was due to cease (I believe that this has since happened.)

Here is the scene as an NS dash 9 has a very easy task with this extremely short local...

Come on Martyn...... don't neglect this classic example of Street/Quay running in Weymouth. U.K.

or the Arosa trains of the Rhätische Bahn in Chur, Switzerland.

Weymouth was one of the notable exceptions I was thinking of :D Very nice pic (and some classic traction too!)

Now that I see the pic, I remember seeing that line somewhere before, anyhow it is the kind of thing I was after, apologies for getting too US-centric on things... ;)

Now come on you folks across the pond, I was expecting a pic of Jack London Square if nothing else  :D [IMG]
