Welcome back fellow railfans and modelers. Friday the 13th is here and whether you are superstitious or not, the weekend is upon us. I do not really get too superstitious with Friday the 13th, in fact, it is usually a really good day for me. Lets get started.

Saturday: Not much modeling as it will be a special day with family. We'll be spending the day on the road and sharing much needed family time and as a result, I'll miss the monthly NMRA meeting. Hopefully I can make the October one.

Sunday: I hope to work on the B&M layout. With track work done, I want to get a base of scenery done. I now have an idea of what industries I will be using for the layout but if I get basic scenery out of the way first, it will be a big improvement.

So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? Let us know. We'll gather around again on Monday the 16th to see what we were able to accomplish. Until then, have a great weekend, stay safe and as always...

Well, there is a swap meet Sunday, about a two and one half hour drive away. Not sure I'll go. If only I knew there would be some HOn30 action and items to buy...

    Let's see....

Saturday: I'll start the decaling of my F3's - Then I will be heading over to a friend's house to help him get ready for his opps session he is hosting on Sunday.

Sunday: Hopefully, finish up the decaling.

    So, here are the F3's

Hope Y'all have a great weekend!!

Research has pretty much finished. Time to start building structures. Friday I plan on doing three. At least one to two more on Sunday. Hopefully I have enough supplies.

I have some FVM "kits" for reefers (from overstock they were recently selling off) to complete and an observation tail car to upgrade for a friend's Golden Spike train special to commemorate his layout being finished. There are also three prototype related rail events this weekend I have been invited to . . .

Trying to get the paint to dry on my control panel case. Can't move forward. Whether indoors in the A/C or outdoors in the heat and humidity, the paint is taking weeks to lose its last wee bit of tackiness. I've recently hit on some success by leaving it outside in the direct sun every day this week where surface temperatures well exceed 100 Deg.. Despite the high humidity, it seems to be slowly working.

    P.S. - It's 92 Deg. in the shade with 46% Humidity at 3PM

I'm hoping to re-assemble a pick up I painted last weekend, need to cut wood for legs for new modules, make brackets for mounting switches etc on said module and a myriad of other things in between all the mundane gardening, house tidying and auto repairs the weekend brings...

Well this is a bummer, I needed more supplies so I can’t get the three building domes until next week.
