Yup, that's right! We're back at it, time to figure out what we have planned for this coming weekend.

I'm ready for a break! After a marathon run of custom painting every Saturday since about Christmas, I'm ready for a change of pace and since the weather has been so cold and rainy, my buddy Brian and I have yet to do any rail-fanning yet. Normally we have our annual Good Friday, Great Rail-fanning trip every Good Friday. Well the weather in March was cold and rainy and so was April and most of May, but tomorrow is supposed to be warm and sunny. So up at 3:00am to get up and moving with the plan to meet Brian in Normal by 5:00am then breakfast in Toluca and fan the BNSF Transcon all the way west to Galesburg. This of course will involve dinner at our favorite Galesburg haunt, the Taco Hideout for some fried tacos and beer, followed by our sweet tooth favorite, Kastle Kreme, for ice cream. hey, no one said rail-fanning was a healthy endeavor!

Sunday's forecast is said to be a nice day as well. My plans are to work on my modules a bit more before tackling my buddy Brian's 2nd O scale locomotive in Bloomer. Yes, he has an addiction. The good news is that I get a break as Jared plays a few soccer games but unfortunately these are the last of the year. Plenty of cook out weather and even a bit of shopping for a new(er) railfan vehicle may be in order as time allows.

So how about you? What do you have planned this weekend? Let us know. We'll come back here on Monday the 23rd to see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, enjoy the warmth if you can and...

    High Greens!

Softball season starts tonight . . . its not at all competitive, but it does have serious components in the beverage department . . . . 27th season for our team.

Tomorrow looks rainy in DC, so once gymnastic and other kid stuff is done I may steal a few minutes in the basement. I have a Jim's repair shop that needs finishing - its going to be a stand in for the CRHS unofficial alternate worksite in Newport PA, but translated into a small town Louisiana hang out.

Tomorrow, I will be installing running boards on my '14 Silverado crew cab. The Wife will be extremely happy -- will be much easier for her to get into it. LOL!! As for MRRing, I hope to get more ground cover on my switch complex. Perhaps revisit my H12-44's. The flat stock (.010X.018) I ordered should arrive tomorrow. So I can make the end hand rails.

Happy modeling and ya'll have a great weekend,
    Wolf

Hmmm... Well, there's a parade that runs down my street and around the neighborhood Saturday morning, so I'll be trapped for a few hours. My San Jose Sharks are playing the St. Louis Blues in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday as well so I may or may not get any modeling done, but it'll be fun!

Not sure what I'll be doing model wise. I do have a project though. There is the Cheap and Nothing Wasted power I have. Got a trio of these. IMG_0157.JPG
