Good morning, good evening, where ever you may be. It's time to grab a chair and gather around and let us all know what you have planned this weekend. Saturday: My weekend started early as I have taken today off to view the spring NH State Auction. Today is viewing day of hundreds of cars, trucks, tractors and much more. I'm not planning on buying anything but I'm going with some co-workers just to see what it is all about. Saturday is the day of the actual auction. After that, I need to work on the garage and other odds and ends. Sunday: Is supposed to be nice, so a ride on the motorcycle is definitely in the cards. I also want to work on some paper work for the City Job for mainly my 1970's rolling stock. So how about you? What do you have planned? Let us know. Let's see -- Saturday: Morning -- Assemble my Granddaughter's kick scooter -- all the components are cleaned up and painted. After receiving a new metric tap and die set, I was able to clean up the threads on the handle bar goose neck bolt and the axles. What a relief!! Saturday: Afternoon -- We'll see how the above goes -- perhaps I can do some model railroading. Sunday: -- To be honest, I haven't really thought about what I want to do. Perhaps --- just run trains. Not sure. I will definitely be in the train room early walking around w/ that first cup of Saturday AM coffee. That's my favorite time up there. I'll definitely be taking on something in the train room or work shop. But really, this weekend I have no clue what until that first sip of coffee. Have a good weekend all!
It’s crunch time. The NMRA is coming over on June 1 and I have lots to do before then. I have one scratch build structure to go. Also several other scenery projects to finish. A few more cars to decal as well. Also o need to get some write ups done for the AP’s. I ha e three to four that are just about ready to go if not already finished. Gotta love paperwork.
My only plans for the weekend related to Trains will be testing DCC++ESP32 v1.2.5 and get a v1 of the PCB out for review. If I can get a few hours of dry weather I'll push the table saw outside and cut a pile of segments for the staging to main deck helix (darn late spring rain!)
