We're down to the last weekend of March and April is soon to be here. Time to get the work bench ready, it's Weekend Modeling Plans time!

I've spent the last week trying to get my new T-Trak module ready for this weekends Trains in The Heartland show. My club, the NSBN is hosting the show for its second year at the Heartland Community College in Normal Illinois the entire weekend. We'll have T-Trak, Ntrak, HO and O scale displays as well as slide shows and presentations so if your in the area of Bloomington Normal Illinois this weekend, you should stop in. I have a few more trees to add to module and still need to pack up the trains before I leave early tomorrow morning. It should be a nice relaxed weekend of running trains and getting ideas for new projects.

So how about you? What is on your ready board as we enter into the weekend? Let us know. We'll all come back on Monday the 30th to see how we all did. Until then, have a happy and safe weekend and...

    High Greens!

I picked this up on ebay for $10.00. Turns out just one of the wires came off and she runs! I will be painting it this weekend and putting SLCR letters on it,

More of a ham radio weekend for me, as the local club is holding its hamfest (ham equivalent of train show). But I will be putting some time in finishing the Atlas GP7 that is becoming CN 4809. Just a few details left!

    And having fun with trains...

I spent the week skiing. Finally, there was good weather and I really enjoyed it all. My legs are burned out.

There should be a couple of things waiting at my LHS. Other than that, I'll hook up the other crossing gate and make some more mechanical adjustments. Then I'll get back to working on the phototransistors to get the detection circuits to work.
