Well we are here again, unlike Monday when I had the heater in the shop on, I'm now contemplating turning the air conditioner on. Got to love Midwest weather! Now, on with the show.

Work continues at a snails pace on the two GP38's and Galesburg modules. Last night I completed the main line realignment to match the photograph I received via e-mail last Thursday. I'm happy with the results. I have to work 9:00am to 2:00pm at the retail store Saturday which means not as much as I would like to get done, will get done. Five hours of work combined with the two hour driving time total doesn't equate to a lot of usable time and hardly worth the pay. If I do get to the layout, it will be to finish up module two with the new realigned cross over and spur tracks for Butler. Sunday I have off but Jared's last soccer game of the season is Sunday in the middle of the afternoon. Whatever time I can eek out on Sunday will be left for working on the modules. Not much planned for the weekend because I will not have a lot of free time, but we'll see if I can accomplish something.

So how about you? What do you have planned this weekend? More demo work? New track plans? Some structure building? Let us know! We'll come back on Monday the 8th to see how we all did. Until, stay safe, have a great weekend and...

    High Greens!

No plans this weekend. On vacation and traveling back home tomorrow. However, while here I got some airbrush paint ordered in small quantities (samples) so I could test them for clouds/backdrop. Which ever one works, I'll be able to order in large quantities at a decent price. Also ordered another valuation map from the C&O Historical Society so I can search track plans. While here at the beach, I found 2 possible trackplan sections of the C&O that I may be able to adapt to my layout. These from the "Kanawha Division" map. I'll be back in the layout room next weekend.

I hope to accomplish more on my HOn30 caboose. What I'd planned for last weekend did not happen until Tuesday. Maybe this time I can get the remaining stirrups made and installed, then that car body to my paint booth.
