Good morning, good evening, wherever you may be. It's time to grab a chair, a cold beverage of your choice and gather around to let us all know what you have planned for the weekend.

Saturday: Currently for me, it's Thursday night as I write this. My weekend starts tomorrow as I head down to the Saint Louis RPM meet, early in the morning. I really enjoy this meet and was afraid I was going to miss it this year but fate intervened and I'm going after all. I'll be displaying my Galesburg City Job and having fun, running the layout, talking with fellow modelers and hopefully enjoying a seminar or two. The show runs both Friday and Saturday and should be a good time.

Sunday: I'll be back from the RPM meet and I hope to work on the B&M layout as well as other domestic chores.

So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? Let us know. We'll return on Monday the 29th to see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, have fun and if you attend this weekends RPM meet in Saint Louis, stop by and chat...

    Let's see......

Saturday: - I'm going with my two best friends down to the Lyon's air museum. They are bringing in a bunch of military vehicles.
After that --- hopefully I will find those pesky air tanks. So, I can start my project.

    Sunday -- Not sure.

    Report on Monday.

    Y'all have a great weekend,
    Wolf

    Happy Friday all!

Weekend end plans will devoted mostly to train stuff along w/ some house maintenance items I have to take care of. Replace a bunch HVAC filters, measure the cove lights in the kitchen ceiling to order LED's (sick of replacing the T lamp incandescents). So, other than that 2 hours or so, I plan to do the following:
    • More work on the double truss bridge. Goal is to paint the bridge and tower this weekend.
    • Work on the Alkem Models C&O Brick cabin I am building.
    • Work on six freight cars that are in my "bad order" repair tray. Some w/ wheel issues, some with coupler issues, and 1 w/ the dreaded "popped plastic" stirrups. Those I plan on replacing w/ A-Line metal ones.
    • Time permitting do some decaling.
Here's a shot of the brick signal cabin.

Hopefully Saturday night, there will be something to grill and I can knock off from the trains late afternoon, fix a "beverage" and sit at the bar w/ the Mrs.

I have a lighting effect to add to a sound chip then it’s pretty much design and plan a third free-moN module. I’m thinking a WWII air base. Other than that we will see what happens.

Last weekend ended up being a bust. Knee was acting up after helping the wife so never made it down the stairs to the train room. Hopefully this weekend will be better. Have a few feeder wires to run and maybe a little scenery work if I can. :)
