Good morning, good evening, wherever you may be. It's time to gather around and meet at the station of creativity. Pull up a chair, grab your drink of choice and be prepared to share with us what you want to accomplish this weekend. Saturday: Not much as far as railroading today. My step son, Jared, is coming home so my future Father-in-law and I can install front struts, rotors and brakes on his car. Should be a good three generations of male bonding going on. I do however, cross a few still functional and abandoned ROW on the way to my future Father-in-law's house. Maybe this will give me the excuse to finally do a bit of research on those lines. We'll see. Sunday: With less then a week away before heading down to the Saint Louis RPM, I'm getting the last minute items finished for the City Job. Over the week, I had some more valuable information come to me from a former Santa Fe employee who ran the line. His insight was very valuable. I'm hopping to change the switch list to reflect the information I have gathered the past week. I'm hopping to add a bit more scenery to the modules as well. If time allows, I'll be working on the B&M switching layout as well. So how about you? What do you have planned this hot weekend of July? Let us know. We'll assemble again on Monday the 22nd to see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, drink plenty of water while staying cool and remember... "Houston, Tranquility base here. The Eagle has landed." ~ Neil Armstrong, 20 July 1969. High Greens!
Well -- let's see..... Saturday -- don't know -- yet. Sunday --- don't know -- yet. I hope to be inspired, once I sit down at my work bench. Report on Monday. Y'all have a great weekend, Wolf
My plans are to assemble at least one ESP32 Command Station PCB for testing... Sent from my ONEPLUS A5010 using Tapatalk
I plan on taking pictures of whatever I wind up doing. It is another one of those weekends where I will get up, walk around the train room about 7:00AM w/ the first cup of coffee and figure what I want to do. Stay cool everyone.
Saturday is a trip up to Chattanooga to check in on mom and dad. Sunday, the wife has some easy honey do's for me but hopefully I'll get a couple of hours to work on the layout and maybe start repainting a crane I have been wanting to redo. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
