Welcome back to the gateway of the weekend. I hope you are all ready for the weekend with a list of projects you wish to accomplish.

Saturday: Those lucky enough to be on the East Coast should be able to attend my most favorite train show of all time, The Big One, the Amherst Rail Society Train Show in Springfield MA. After attending last year, it officially surpassed my former favorite show, Galesburg RR Days. I wish I was going this year, but I will be working this year. Maybe next year.

Sunday: Angela's Dad and Grandma are going to be snowbirds in another week, spending the next six weeks in Florida. As a result, Angela and I will be spending the day with them, so no model railroading will be done. I really want to work on the layout but anymore, my time is so limited that I just look at it occasionally.

So how about you? Anyone going to Springfield this weekend? What is on your work bench? Let us know. We'll assemble on Monday to see how you all did. Until then, have a great weekend, be safe and as always...

    High Greens!

I think the list of what's not on my workbench would be shorter.

Its 4H Shooting Sports season down south, so Saturday I'm off with Medium Man to do archery and air rifle. that will consume the AM, ad the PM will be all about getting the ladies of the house ready to go to the Big Easy for a broadway touring show. If I have any energy after that's done, the test segment of my benchwork will come down and the new segments of the permanent stuff can go up.

Then I'll have a bourbon and call it good.

Not sure how modelling I will get in --

Saturday: Start decaling my friends SW9 (I should complete this) - work on his E8's.
I bought a bunch of different lengths of static grass. I would like to set up a test/practice board to see what I can do with the grass.
I also purchased and set up an X/Y table on my mini drill press. Perhaps I'll give it a go - to see if they work together.

Sunday: I have a meeting to go to - for the Mountain group I belong to. So, not sure how much modeling I'll get to.

    Y'all have a great weekend!!

Philip H: Let's see, modeling or Makers Marker... modeling or Makers Mark. Nice problem! Or both is even a nicer one! Enjoy.

This weekend, it will be workbench projects for me on bridge and continuation of "plaster cleaning" on a building I'm working on. Any time left may be used to install block (amperage) detector on the hidden siding I finished last weekend.

    Have a great weekend!

I have plans. Plans to build structures, lay track, wiring. No to make it all happen. I also have a box of
Laser kits I just received. Now to make plans to weather and assemble them.

I'm working on the Arkansas River Bridge for the Boston Mountains Sub Division layout. There are three types of bridges and I am working on the Walther's arched truss bridge, the other two are already assembled. After I finish the arched bridge will work on the main span bridge by cutting it to make a single track bridge.
