We have just about cleared this week, February keeps on a rollin'. What do you want to get done this weekend? I have my monthly operations session tomorrow so I'll prepare a bit more tonight by getting the track cleaned again (Can't be to careful) as well as getting the shop cleaned up. I'll go ahead and get the switch lists printed and ready for the crews before trying to get a bit done in the shop. With the D&RGW GP30 finished, I'm now onto my buddies O scale 2 rail items. The caboose is painted and has decals and the one covered hopper has one side with decals. If I don't have to worry too much about cleaning the shop for the operations meet, I may finish decals on that one hopper. Sunday is going to be a long day. Jared has decided to spend the next few days at a collage campus he is interested in enrolling to in the fall. It's about three hours away so he is leaving this morning. Ang and I will be picking him up at 8am so with the time change and all, we have to leave at 3:00am. Yikes! Well at least we get breakfast out and since we should be home by noon, I'll grant him all the domestic chores that are usually done by your author. That will hopefully leave me some time to work on my Inglenook project. I want to get the track down and since my NCE panel comes in today, I want to get it installed and maybe just maybe start running trains. So how about you? What do you have planned this weekend? let us know. We'll assemble again on Monday the 20th. Until then, have a great weekend, have fun and as always... High Greens!
Well, I hope to get more done in industrial Saticoy. With Daytona on Sunday - I will work on bench projects... perhaps some decoder installs..or.. work on a structure or two.... hmmmmm Hope ya'll have a great weekend, Wolf
Hmm... weekend plans... I'd like to cut the lumber for my Inglenook project tomorrow. According to my to-do list, I'm also supposed to finish wiring up a load cell amplifier circuit for the car scale I'm building... and do a mockup of a large warehouse for the layout. I've got a F7B to change couplers on and dummy-fy, and maybe add some HEP details to. If I get all of that done, I'd call it a major success.
A friend and I are going to Sacramento for Autorama on Sunday. Autorama is a wonderful throwback to the old car shows from the 60s. We've gone the last four years and it's always been awesome.
Not modeling, per se. Selling. I hope to make a bit of coin at the Saline Michigan train show. You pays your money and you takes your chances. I have some new locos marked at the $60 level that I hope will move. (No undecs Jim, chill.) I'll have a loop of track set up so I can play with my toys a little. The cool part is just hangin' with your train pals, eating bad - for - you - food, & talkin' trains. It's goes something like this:
