We're chugging through December at a pretty good clip. Are you surviving? Are you getting anything done? Is this mic on.....? tap, tap, tap.... Despite the Christmas season, I'm moving along okay with my modules. Module 026 by Jim Wiggin posted Dec 11, 2015 at 8:25 AM Module one has all the cork down like I said last week. Finished the whole module two nights ago so now the track is ready for paint. Module 025 by Jim Wiggin posted Dec 11, 2015 at 8:25 AM Both this module and the module that is next to it will get a complete covering of cork so that all the track will either be in the weeds or in concrete. Once the main wanders to the third module however, only a portion of the cork is used. So my goal this weekend, between getting a tree, decorating the house, setting up the Christmas Train and spending quality time with my Sweetheart, is to glue the last remaining ties on the second module before adding cork on it as well. Doesn't sound like much but the cork is time consuming. I really want to start laying the roads and concrete for Butler in January as well as spending some time on structures for a change of pace. Well I took two days vacation from work so I have an extra long weekend. Was supposed to go ice fishing with my nephew today but he had a family emergency so off to plan 2 (or my original plan I should say). I will be flying the cork onto my carts and adding some more throttle pockets to the fascia including the carts. Then it's off to see what else needs to be done. Saturday I won't get much done due to a Christmas concert I will be playing in. Will take up most of the day but I will get to visit a hobby shop. I need an n scale ruler so I can scratch build a fire tower as well as some styrene. Sunday I will be busy as well. Hope to get some stuff done though. Merry Tubachristmas!!!!
