Pull up that chair, grab a donut, and gather around for another weekend planning session. It would seam like spring is in the air as where I am at, 70's seams to be in order but if you guessed that old man winter is still playing dirty and plans to dump snow on some of us in the heartland, you would be right. Ugh! Snow, snow, go away already! Saturday: The plan is to go to my not so local hobby shop and pick up some items I ordered for the B&M modules. Decals for the propane dealer and some wire and stanchions for the B&M NW2 I plan on painting up for the two modules. Saturday is supposed to be warm before the dreaded cold front moves in so with the stain on the three modules, I hope to apply the polyurethane finish between Friday night and Saturday. I'm also experimenting with magnets to keep the modules together. The last bit involves Jess, my railfan Jeep. Last year she got her lift but she is still running around with tiny tires. With any luck, a road trip will solve that dilemma and she'll be ready for another season of chasing trains. Sunday: with the temps dipping back down to February numbers mixed with snow, working in the garage will not be an option. I'll probably stay indoors and work on the original Galesburg City Job modules as they need a refresh and since the 2.0 modules will not be ready for a while, I might as well get ready for Decatur next weekend and the Ohio N scale meet next month. So how about you? What is on your list of projects for the weekend? let us know. We'll assemble again on Monday the 16th to see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, stay warm, and as always... High Greens!
Since I took the last weekend off from doing anything it’s time to get back into the swing of things. Today I plan on more trees. Hopefully Sunday I will be wiring the turntable motor. From there things should take off again.
Saturday is my wife's birthday (29... the only correct and acceptable answer is "29"), and though we have no plans to go anywhere I doubt I'll get much done. I've been doing tiny little projects in the evenings, so for me, great progress has been made (considering the long hiatus). I suspect Sunday will be more of the same, with a lot of little things getting done. We shall see.
Saturday: I hope to finish up my train Master project. Start on a new project-?? Sunday: Finish up my power point presentation. Hope Y'all have a great weekend, Wolf
More wiring. Also intend on mounting Tortoise machines. I plan also on temporarily getting power to the east bound track in order to run trains in both directions. This looks like the first weekend in months I won’t be dragging work home. Plus!!! My taxes returns are filed so it is all weekend in the attic. Awesome!
